Seeking and embracing happiness in life can be a journey, and this talented artist discovered her joy through painting! Joan's watercolor, oil, and collage artworks are characterized by cheerful and vivid colors, on display at the Hershey Art Gallery & Gifts.

Growing up in a family of artists, musicians, and creators, Joan always had a passion for painting, but it wasn't until her mid-40s that she fully immersed herself in it, starting with her piece "Field of Dreams." Inspired to paint a field of poppies in a unique way, she had a sudden vision of "her" field one morning, igniting her painting passion and launching her art career. With hundreds of artworks to her name, many now adorn homes throughout the U.S.A. Her coastal pieces can also be found in Nags Head and Duck, North Carolina, as well as in Chincoteague, Virginia.

In addition to her own creations, Joan's gallery and gift shop showcase a diverse selection of handpicked works by local artisans, including jewelry, leaded glass, repurposed metal sculptures, natural skincare products, and vintage items.

The renovated second floor serves as her studio, extra gallery space, and a cozy guest lounge, welcoming visitors to immerse themselves in the art, local crafts, and gardens.
