Hi! I’m Jodi Fox. I started working with clay in 2012 under the tutelage of Jamie Juliana of Phoenix Studios. I sometimes create pieces on the wheel, but recently, I have been focusing on hand building using slabs of clay. I enjoy adding graphics to my pieces and creating contrast through texture and color. My themes tend to revolve around nature and music. 

I am also interested in Kintsugi. This is the process of repairing broken pottery with gold or another metal. I love the idea that something that has been broken can be just as useful and beautiful as the original object. 

When I’m not working with clay, I am probably playing the violin or working as a mental health therapist.
